Eco Friendly Solutions

All the sculptures made by Kunye are made with eco friendly materials

– Ecoresin – waterbased acrylic resins
– Greenpoxy – Bio based High performance epoxy resin formulated with 51% biobased carbons.
Based on the latest innovations in green chemistry, this resin will allows us to reduce the carbon footprint of our projects without compromising on performance.
– 3 D print with resin, made recycled bottles and fishing nets . Using recycled materials for 3D printing is a great way to reduce waste and environmental impact while creating unique, custom sculptures.
– Metal ( frondibus sculptures)
– Our patinas are made with Waterbased acrylics and natural pigments
– The reinforcement of the eco friendly resins is done with fibre glass. The main ingredient in fiberglass is glass. Since glass is made from sand ─ an abundant, natural, non-depleting resource ─ fiberglass is a highly-sustainable solution.

Since our production is done with waterbased materials, we do not use solvents to clean our tools and equipment

This is in stark contrast  to working with Glass Fibre reinforced Polyester – which is 1. a highly polluting material that 2. gives off toxic fumes during production and 3. which requires cleaning tools and equipment with high amounts of solvents which creates toxic waste.
